The 2-inch heels are just the right height for me and they are the kind that dont make the loud sounds that high heeled shoes typically make. The hooks would look just as nice on an outer wall but we decided not to have anything cluttering the walls. the answer 1 shoes I do think that they should include some thin foam strips in the packaging to prevent any possible issues with rattling, but for me it has just not been an issue.
